Fruits are the major source of all the vitamins required by human body. Eating all kinds of fruits keeps the physical as well as the mental condition of a person fit and satisfactory. You can prevent many of the diseases if you take in regularly certain quantity vitamins in fruits. Sometimes, we avoid a particular fruit just because of our dislike for that fruit but while doing so we forget the fact that the vitamins in fruits are essential for keeping us healthy. Most of the people avoid eating banana by arguing that they do not like banana, but they do not know the importance of vitamin Banana which is contained by the banana and is necessary for the strengthening of immune system.

Along with this, the vitamin B is good as it increases the metabolism in the body and helps turning carbohydrates into energy required by the body. If the vitamin B is not taken in required quantity, it can cause diseases of heart and beriberi. Laziness and tiredness is also due to the deficiency of vitamin B. Furthermore, most of the vitamins in fruits keep the skin glowing and fresh.
The vitamin A, which is found in apple and orange are necessary to keep the human body prevented from the weakness of bones and night blindness. It means oranges and apple are good for the eye sight. Also these two are good to strengthen the bones of human body. The strong bones are required for people of all age groups, but especially the children and students must take in good quantity of orange juices and apples. Moreover, fruits are refreshing due to their rich and sweet tastes. To keep yourself fresh and energetic you must increase the consumption of fresh fruit juices on regular basis. The vitamin B1, B2 and B3, B5, B6 and B9 are necessary for the healthy growth of blood cells in the body. Where as the vitamin C, which is found in the banana, apple, lemon, orange, strawberry, mango and grapes is an important anti oxidant which protects the body tissues and cells from getting damaged. It is also important to prevent the deadly disease like cancer. It plays a chief role in developing muscles and absorption of iron. The diseases which are boosted with the improper intake of vitamin C are: production of blood gums, cancer risks, scurvy, unintentional weight loss, infections of various kinds and instability of mental processes.
Besides this it must be understood here that the physical fitness is attached with the mental health of a person. When a person is physically fit, he most probably has a good mental condition. So the vitamins in fruits are important to keep the mental and physical health in good condition. The benefits of fruits are countless. The people who are careless in this regard can cause serious problems of health. So the people who are dieting to lose weight should try, not to avoid the fruits as it will weaken their immune system.
